Two more ways to support local ministries:

connect with God in prayer

  • Lori Moreno passed away Friday morning in her home. Pray for her husband Daniel, and for Justin & Amanda and the whole Moreno/Griggs/Dover families as they grieve and handle arrangements.
  • Pray for Paulie & Evelyn Romero. Paulie is able to stay at home with home health care.
  • Ron Froese says that Cynthia Avendano passed away from her prolonged illness.
  • Remember those dealing with health issues: Michelle Perez, Makenna Witherall, Al Suderman, and Mary Salazar. Zach Clemmer is receiving physical therapy on his wrist. More people are suffering or recovering from illness.
  • Praise the Lord for those who dedicated themselves and their children to the Lord: Lafayette & Joanna Brooks - Adonis; Amanda Dover & Justin Griggs - Austin; Eva Morazan - Aria; and Freddy & Dejanirra Parker - Cali, Rozlie, Zaillyn, and Miguel-Angel.
  • Pray for Otto Ekk as he handles some important business and encourages leaders in Portugal for the next two weeks.
  • Cecil & Tracy Ramos and sons, Solas and Judah, are heading back to Thailand. They have a send-off event on January 27th.
  • Mike Naylor is receiving daily radiation treatments, through Feb. 2nd. Pray for endurance.
  • Remember those who are fighting cancer or awaiting diagnosis or treatment: Mike Naylor, Kristel Salazar, Eugene Enns, Carolina Coralles, Glen Zimmerman, Lanisha Washington, and Kristel Salazar's coworker, Ricardo.
  • Remember those who have lost loved ones recently: Carol Isaak (husband George), Kristi Buller, Mike & Nori Naylor (aunt), Robert & Genevieve Mendoza (aunt), Manuel & Karen Madrid (mother), Janet Southard (JR), and Lyubov Heinrichs (mother).
  • Praise the Lord for a good turnout and training last Saturday as about one hundred people from the county, Dinuba, Woodlake, Reedley, Cutler, and Orosi gathered to learn about the opioid epidemic and how to use Narcan to restore people's lives. Thanks to Brian Willems and the CR Leadership team and Broken Chains for taking the lead with Supervisor Valero.
  • Pray for our youth - NLC CREW - as they shift to Sunday evening gatherings. Pray also for Chinoh as he develops the team with Louis & Michelle and others. Pray about joining them!
  • Continue praying for an end to violence in Israel and Gaza, as well as in Russia and Ukraine and far too many other places around the world.
