connect to God through prayer

- Pray for Anissa Almaguer as she recovers from a c-section. We are thankful for the arrival of a healthy, 8 lb. baby girl! Pray for Neida Roa, who is also expecting and was put on bed rest.
- Pray for Noemi Gonzalez as she recovers from surgery at home.
- Also remember: Marilyn Chappell and other residents in Palm Village Healthcare, Harold Kruger and others in Sierra View, and Mary Salazar.
- Pray for those who have lost loved ones, including the family of Carolina Coralles, who passed away on July 21. A new GriefShare support group will begin in August.
- Pray for those who are seeking employment.
- Pray for the undocumented in our community as they navigate life under this administration.
- Pray for our missionaries: Pablo & Maricela Chavez in Peru, Cecil & Tracy Ramos in Thailand, Jonathan & Joanna Gutierrez in Portugal, and Johnny & Denise Esposito who are home on furlough.
- Pray for peace as violence and war affect so many families and children in Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, in the Middle East, and in parts of Africa.

Back to School Prayer
As you step into this new school year, may you go with confidence, knowing that God has gone before you and walks beside you.
For Students:
May your mind be sharp and ready to learn. May your heart be open to kindness and friendship. When challenges come, may you remember that you are strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). You are deeply loved, wonderfully made, and called to shine His light in every classroom, hallway, and playground.
For Teachers, Staff, and School Leaders:
May you be filled with wisdom, patience, and creativity. May you find joy in your calling and strength for every task ahead. When the days feel long, may you be reminded that your labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). You are planting seeds that will grow in ways you may never fully see, and your work is a reflection of God’s love.
For All:
May this year be filled with growth, discovery, and moments that remind you of God’s goodness. May His peace guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7), His favor surround you like a shield (Psalm 5:12), and His Spirit guide you into every good thing He has planned for you (Ephesians 2:10).
Go into this school year blessed, covered, and deeply loved.
