  • Pray for Noemi Gonzalez as she recovers from surgery at home.
  • Pray for Joanna Espinoza and Sandy Aguilar at the death of their sister Amy, and  Irene Gonzalez and family as they mourn the loss of Hazel.

  • Pray for those who have lost loved ones.
  • Pray for those who are seeking employment.
  • Pray for our interns as they serve our Church family and community this summer.
  • Pray for the campers and SOAR participants to be open to the work God will be doing in their lives as both Camp/SOAR approaches. Thank you NLC fam for your continued prayer and financial support for our young people!
  • Pray for the undocumented in our community as they navigate life under this administration.
  • Pray for our missionaries: Pablo & Maricela Chavez in Peru, Cecil & Tracy Ramos in Thailand, Jonathan & Joanna Gutierrez in Portugal, and Johnny & Denise Esposito in Cambodia.
  • Pray for peace as violence and war affect so many families and children in Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, in the Middle East, and in parts of Africa.

Connect to a volunteer

Hello, my name is Michelle Villarreal, and I am going to be a sophomore this upcoming school year.  I volunteer in the Children's ministry here at NLC. I love seeing God work with our children here at church. A Favorite part of volunteering is being able to help share God’s word to our little ones and how he is with us every day. Not only that, but being able to help them understand God's love. I am very grateful for my experiences in the 4-year-old to first-grade class and nursery, and even though they are babies, they are still mighty little warriors of God. In both classes, I have had a different experience, whether it's with the teachers or the students; however, the one thing they have in common in both classrooms is their passion for their relationship with Jesus.
