connect with God's Word

PC: John Warkentin
Our ladies had a wonderful time of growth and fellowship during the Hartland Woman's Retreat. Welcome back, ladies!
We are so thankful for all the work our Sunday Service team puts in to serve our church community on Sundays. God's presence was felt throughout our campus. What was your favorite part about Sunday?

connect to God through prayer

- Pray about participating in the Discipleship Initiative for Community on Wednesday evenings in October (sign up on the website or in person on Sunday).
- Pray for those dealing with long-term health issues and cancer treatments, and for Anissa Almaguer and Neida Roa as they recover from the births of their daughters.
- Also remember: Marilyn Chappell and other residents in Palm Village Healthcare, Harold Kruger and others in Sierra View, and Mary Salazar.
- Pray for those who have lost loved ones and those attending the GriefShare support group.
- Pray for the North Fresno Church as they are walking with families through loss this week--Larry Martens (pastor, conference leader, FPU/seminary professor) died from pancreatic cancer, and the Ochoa family was in an accident where the mother was critically injured, three children died, and two others received minor injuries.
- Pray for those who are seeking employment.
- Pray for Joshua Aquino as he is away for training—may he be safe and strengthened.
- Pray for the undocumented in our community as they navigate life under this administration.
- Pray for our missionaries: Pablo & Maricela Chavez in Peru, Cecil & Tracy Ramos in Thailand, Jonathan & Joanna Gutierrez in Portugal, and Johnny & Denise Esposito in Cambodia.
- Pray for peace as violence and war affect so many families and children in Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, in the Middle East, and in parts of Africa.
- Pray about participating in a prayer booth during Dinuba's Raisin Day celebration next week, and let Pastor Brad or Stan Isaac know when you can be there for an hour or two.

Connect To Reasons We Love NLC
This church has provided a time and place for several generations to learn God’s word, have opportunities to serve in many different capacities, and be involved in people’s faith journeys. Whether we planted seeds or watered new little plants or enjoyed the fruits of others’ labors, we pray that God continues to give growth and guidance in the future.
-Elaine Isaak
When you enter, you are welcomed to join one big family. All are welcome as brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
-Eva Morazan
Reasons I love NLC:
Welcoming Community
Loving Children's ministry director
Amazing children
-Dulce Gonzalez
I love the people that I get to be in community with at NLC. We have lots of opportunities to come together and study God's word.
-Brenda Clemmer
I love that everyone is so welcoming here.
-Amourah Lara
There are many, many reasons why I love NLC, but one of the top reasons is because I believe we are striving to be people after God's own heart; I believe we are smack dab in the middle of God's will, striving to be the embodiment of God's love, which thrusts us into the community to love others and to love them well.
-Martha Sawatzky
I love that everyone is so accepting. They are like my family.
-Amanda Dover
Being with NLC energizes me!
-Otto Ekk
This Church is an amazing place. It's warm and accepting and the people here genuinely care for one another. Being able to come and know that there are Bible studies, classes like grief and loss, prayer night and a Celebrate Recovery group has changed my life immensely--not just mine but my children's as well. We were very broken people when we showed up, so when we came inside, we instantly felt God's love here and with this community and it's completely changed mine and my children's lives.
-Candace Godfrey
I love NLC for the diversity of the people. I look forward to the preaching each Sunday. I believe NLC is teaching us how to love our community.
-Marjorie Ekk
I love our church because of our Christian cats and sometimes dogs that are welcome here.
-Michelle Villarreal
I love the family atmosphere and that our church is a welcoming place for everyone.
