Connect to Loving Service

Lyubov Heinrichs faithfully serves on Sunday mornings at Connecting Point. I recently asked her why she serves, in hopes of encouraging others in our congregation who have not yet found their place of service at New Life Community.
Here’s what she shared:

"Why do I do this? First of all, my husband serves at Connecting Point, and I wanted to be by his side—serving alongside him and with Martha Sawatzky—just loving and welcoming people in the name of Jesus. That’s really the heart of it: welcoming people with love, for Jesus and through Jesus.
What drew me most was the sense that it was time to stand beside my husband, Timothy, and serve together. I truly believe Jesus wants me to be there, and I trust that He will do the work through me. My goal is simply to be faithful and love everyone who walks through the doors of our church.
God has given me a special purpose: to connect with the young girls who are coming to our church. He’s put it on my heart to spend time with them, to offer love and hugs, to listen, and to share the stories of what Jesus has done in my life. Through serving at Connecting Point, I’ve made so many new friends. It’s been such a blessing."
