Things you might like to know...

In the spirit of FAQ columns, I want to share a few things with you that you might not otherwise notice.
1. Women's Ministries L.I.F.T. Bible Study has a new logo! Maybe you've wondered what L.I.F.T. means--now you do! Ladies In Fellowship Together. Join in every other Tuesday morning
2.  The Home Resource Center is set up in the former Junior High room in the Family Center. Thank you for donating the items needed to help families transition from Open Gate's shelter into their own housing. It would be a great help if you would please contact Phyllis Enns or Carolyn Ehoff before dropping anything off at church. We can only store what will be needed.

3.  A Members' Meeting is planned for Sunday, March 21st, after worship. Life Lesson Classes are asked to take a break that Sunday so all can attend. There are two main items to be shared: (a) starting a capital fund, and (b) NLC staff reorganization. You don't have to be a member of the church to come and listen.

4. *Live Streaming is starting this Sunday, February 28th. Since the beginning of the pandemic NLC staff and volunteers have been recording worship services either at home or in the church's green screen room. Now we are shifting to a live video stream of our actual worship services in the gym. If you've been worshiping online, you'll notice the change! You can access the live stream on our church website, our church Facebook page, our NLC YouTube channel, or by using the church app on your smartphone.

5. Need technical help downloading or using the church app on your smartphone? Stop by the Welcome Table in the Dining Hall lobby before or after church.

6. Our NLC vision is at the top of every News & Views. It's more than a line we wrote and forgot. The staff, Elders, and Trustees are working to implement our church vision every day. We really DO envision New Life Community as a diverse family of faith; a community that is continuously being transformed through a personal, living relationship with Jesus Christ; and devoted to the cause of authentically loving God, each other, and our community.

7. NLC has a Prayer Line. You can hear updated information on recent prayer needs by calling (559) 591-8483 any time of day or night. Would you like a prayer request included? Call the church office or send an email to prayer@newlifedinuba.org.
